Is Libre by Nexus a bail bond company?
No, Libre by Nexus is a company that helps secure immigration bonds through indemnifying bonds and by using GPS technology. Libre by Nexus has contracts with the bail bond company used to actually post the immigration bond.
How do I know I can trust Libre by Nexus?
Our company has reunited thousands of families, and secures immigration bonds every day. We understand that the communities we serve are often targeted by criminals who would take advantage of families in need. Therefore we accept credit and debit cards and encourage our clients to take steps to protect themselves from fraud when dealing with any company.
How much do I have to pay?
When you secure an immigration bond through Libre, you pay a premium payment to the bond company, which is based upon the total amount of the bond. Libre by Nexus is required to charge this fee and it is the fee of the bond company. Libre by Nexus does not keep any of that money. Libre by Nexus also charges a service fee and a GPS installation and tracking fee. Normally the total amount paid is roughly 20% of the bond. You are not required to pay collateral when using the GPS bracelet!
What makes Libre different from other companies?
The biggest difference between Libre by Nexus and other companies that might be bond providers is that with Libre, you do not need to pay collateral. Most companies require the payment of collateral or the use of property to secure your immigration bond. Nexus secures the bond with GPS, which means you don’t have to pay the full amount of the bond.
I am not documented. Do I need a citizen to start the process?
No. Libre by Nexus does not discriminate against clients for any reason. We believe it is important to support our clients as they attempt to navigate the legal system. We believe that relationships, and support in the community are extremely important to the client’s chances of successfully completing their responsibilities and managing their cases. For that reason, we would rather work with family and friends close to the person who is being detained, than a person who is helping just because they have papers. You can call us and we can help you. Do not be afraid, we are here for you.
